The inaugural Kho Kho World Cup will be held in India in 2025, announced by the Kho Kho Federation of India and the International Kho Kho Federation. The 9th ICC Women’s T20 World Cup started in Sharjah, UAE. The tournament runs from October 3rd to 20th, with ten teams participating. Rani Rampal, Indian hockey icon, retired after a 14-year career, starting as the youngest team member at 14. Known as the “queen of Indian women’s hockey,” her jersey number 28 was retired in her honor. She led India to a historic fourth-place finish at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics and won the Asia Cup in 2017, ending a 13-year title drought. Rani also earned a silver at the 2018 Asian Games.
