E-Sanjeevani Crosses 50 Crore Teleconsultations
e-Sanjeevani is India’s National Telemedicine Service and crossed 50 crore teleconsultations on 15 September 2026. As of 6 October 2026, the platform recorded a cumulative 50,00,92,730 teleconsultations across all 36 States and Union Territories.
Platform Structure
e-Sanjeevani operates through more than 1.42 lakh Ayushman Arogya Mandir spokes, 19,473 medical hubs, and 901 online Outpatient Departments. The platform had 2,41,923 registered healthcare providers as of 6 October 2026.
Service Features
The service is available in 15 languages, including English and 14 Indian languages. It supports about 2.5–3 lakh consultations daily, and its highest single-day utilisation reached 6,30,315 consultations.
Patient Profile and Integration
Women account for 57.14% of total utilisation on e-Sanjeevani. Citizens aged 46 years and above account for 40.15% of consultations, and senior citizens aged 60 years and above account for 16.25%.
The platform is integrated with the Emergency Response Support System-112 for linkage with emergency services. It also uses an Artificial Intelligence-powered Clinical Decision Support System to assist healthcare providers.

Institutional Expansion
Patient-to-doctor teleconsultations for select specialities have been introduced at AIIMS Jodhpur, AIIMS Jammu, and AIIMS Patna. Phased expansion to other premier government institutions is planned.
