Recently, Myanmar has launched its first stock exchange – ” Yangon Stock Exchange (YSX)”. Initially, it will be open only to Myanmar companies and investors, and future law changes will eventually allow foreigners to invest in Myanmar shares. The exchange is founded by the state-owned Myanmar Economic Bank, Daiwa Securities and Japan Exchange Group, a company that operates the Tokyo Stock Exchange. The trading in the exchange is expected to begin in February or March 2016.
