NHAI Adds Toll Plaza Feedback Feature to Rajmargyatra App

The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) introduced the ‘Toll Plaza Feedback’ feature on the Rajmargyatra mobile app on 19–20 October 2026. The feature enables National Highway users to submit feedback about toll plazas through the app.

How the Feedback Feature Works

Annual pass users of FASTag receive a notification from the Rajmargyatra app after crossing a National Highway toll plaza, inviting them to share their experience. All app users can also open the “Toll Plaza Feedback” option from the menu and submit feedback about any toll plaza. Users can rate their experience on a scale, select options related to their journey and add remarks. The feedback facility provides a digital channel for users to report experiences and raise toll plaza issues. NHAI can use the submissions to identify and monitor areas requiring service improvements.

Rajmargyatra and NHAI

Rajmargyatra is NHAI’s mobile application for National Highway users. NHAI is a statutory authority under the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, established under the National Highways Authority of India Act, 1988. It is responsible for the development, maintenance and management of National Highways entrusted to it. The feedback feature is intended to support citizen participation and NHAI’s efforts to make National Highway journeys safer, smoother and more convenient. NHAI encourages users to submit feedback about toll plaza services through the app.

FASTag and Electronic Toll Collection

FASTag is an electronic toll collection system that uses Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology to enable toll payments from a linked account. It is used at toll plazas on National Highways and is part of the National Electronic Toll Collection framework.
