NIXI Hosts APNIC 62 in Mumbai

The 62nd APNIC Conference (APNIC 62) is being held in Mumbai from September 4 to September 10, 2026. The event is hosted by the National Internet Exchange of India (NIXI) and organised by the Asia Pacific Network Information Centre (APNIC).

APNIC and Regional Internet Governance

APNIC is the Regional Internet Registry for the Asia Pacific region. It manages Internet number resources, including IPv4 and IPv6 address allocation, and supports policy development for Internet operations in the region.

Role of NIXI and ISPAI

NIXI is India’s national Internet exchange and a not-for-profit organisation under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology. The Internet Service Providers Association of India (ISPAI) is co-hosting the conference, and the Government of Maharashtra is providing support for the event.
