Government Adds Navi Mumbai Airport for Medicine Imports

The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare notified Navi Mumbai Airport in Maharashtra as an authorised port for the import of drugs on 8 July 2026. The notification amended Rule 43A of the Drugs Rules, 1945, and increased the total number of notified ports of entry for drug imports in India to 42.
