Uttar Pradesh Trade Show Secures ₹6,500 Crore in MoUs

The Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show (UPITS) 2026 concluded on 29 September 2026 at the India Expo Centre and Mart in Greater Noida. During the five-day event held from 25 to 29 September 2026, organisers recorded 4,400 Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) worth about ₹6,500 crore and projected business potential of around ₹15,500 crore.

Trade Show Format and Business Engagement

UPITS 2026 recorded 41,500 business-to-business and commercial meetings during the event. The trade show also registered a total footfall of 598,693 visitors, including 174,990 domestic business buyers.

Partner Countries and Sectoral Focus

Six countries participated as partner nations for the 2026 edition of UPITS. These countries were Russia, Austria, Japan, Singapore, Belarus and Vietnam.

Foreign delegations showed interest in Uttar Pradesh’s manufacturing, information technology, electronics, textile and agri-food processing sectors. These sectors are part of the state’s industrial and export-oriented economic profile.

Memorandums of Understanding

A Memorandum of Understanding is a formal agreement that records the intention of two or more parties to work together on a project or investment. In trade fairs and investment summits, MoUs are commonly used to document proposed industrial, commercial or institutional cooperation.
