Her mortal remains were placed at her residence and the Nanda Malini Music Academy, also known as Sangeetha Ashramaya, on Wijayaba Mawatha, Nawala Road, Nugegoda. Public homage began at 10:00 a.m. on 21 August 2026, and the final rites were scheduled for 22 August 2026 at Borella Cemetery.
