Esha Singh Wins Gold in 25m Pistol

Indian shooter Esha Singh won the gold medal in the women’s 25m pistol event at the ISSF World Cup (Rifle/Pistol/Shotgun) in Hangzhou, China, on 27 July 2026. Manu Bhaker won the bronze medal in the same final, and India finished with three medals at the competition.

Women’s 25m Pistol Event

The women’s 25m pistol is an ISSF shooting event conducted under the International Shooting Sport Federation rules. The event includes a qualification round and a final, and the final is decided by hit totals in a series of elimination stages.

Final and Qualification Format

In the Hangzhou final, Esha Singh scored 40 hits in the eight-woman contest. Manu Bhaker finished with 28 hits after a shoot-off, while both Indian shooters had qualified strongly from the preliminary round.
