Mukhyamantri Sikho Kamao Yojana (Chief Minister Learn and Earn Scheme) was approved by the Madhya Pradesh Cabinet.
Youth who have passed class 12, ITI, UG and PG are eligible for this scheme. The scheme will provide stipend to the youths along with training, skill upgradation will boost their employment opportunities and pave way for a better way of earning.

Shipbuilding Financial Assistance (SBFA) was introduced by the Indian Government to make India-made ships competitive in the global market.
Under this initiative, Indian Shipyards are provided up to 20% of the Contract Price or the Fair Price (whichever is lower) as assistance for each specialized vessel they construct.

As part of the Act East Policy, the Indian government announced a 12-point development plan for the Pacific Island nations at the Forum for India-Pacific Islands Cooperation (FIPIC) summit held at Port Moresby, the capital of Papua New Guinea.
The 12- point development agenda is part of the Act East Policy of India. This plan focuses on areas like renewable energy, healthcare and cybersecurity.

The Central Government recently released the biggest-ever bifurcation dues for the Andhra Pradesh government, amounting to Rs.10,460 crore.
This is the largest compensation since the bifurcation in June 2014. The amount released to Andhra Pradesh till last year was only Rs 4,117.89 crore.

Georgi Gospodinov is the first Bulgarian author to win International Booker Prize. He authored the book titled “Time Shelter”.
He is one of the leading voices of contemporary European literature. For translating his work “Time Shelter” into English, his translator Angela Rodel and him shared the 2023 International Booker Prize.

Kheibar is a long-range ballistic missile with a potential range of 2,000 kilometres. It was recently test fired by Iran.
It is capable of reaching a range of 2,000 kilometers and carrying a warhead weighing up to 1.5 metric tons. The United States claimed that Iran’s missile program posed a ‘serious threat’.

Tina Turner, a famous American musician, recently passed away at the age of 83. She is the first African-American woman rock-and-roll artist.
Turner announced her retirement in 2000, a year after releasing her final solo album, Twenty Four Seven. Her autobiography ‘My Love Story’ was released in 2018.
