It includes five major announcements which are – MoPSW to provide 30 per cent financial support for the promotion of Green Shipping; Deendayal Port and VO Chidambaranar Port, Tuticorin to be developed as Green Hydrogen Hub among others.

Meiogyne arunachalensis is a new species of tree discovered recently in Arunachal Pradesh. The tree, which belongs to Custard Apple Family was discovered in Namdapha National Park and East Siang.
This is the first record of Meiogyne genus from Northeast India and the eastern Himalayan biodiversity hotspot.

Sturisoma reisi is a newly discovered species of catfish. It was found in Madeira River basin in Bolivia and Brazil.
First described in 1838 with Loricaria rostrata as the type species, the genus includes 10 recognized species at present.

‘Kaveri 2.0’ web-based property registration application is set to be rolled out by the Revenue Department in all 43 sub-registrar offices in Bengaluru.
Out of 256 offices, the Karnataka state government so far has launched the app in 165 offices in 24 districts.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi released a special commemorative postage stamp and a ₹75 coin to mark the inauguration of the new Parliament building.
He released the coin and the stamp at the inauguration event held at the Lok Sabha chamber of the new Parliament building.

South Korea recently launched its home-grown space rocket, Nuri. It successfully delivered a commercial-grade satellite into orbit.
The three-stage, 155-foot-tall rocket successfully deployed all of its payloads into their designated orbits, as per the Korea Aerospace Research Institute (KARI), South Korea’s space agency.
