Operation Trinetra is a massive search operation that was launched to hunt down terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir’s Rajouri.
During this operation, a total of five soldiers lost their lives. It was conducted by the Indian Army along with the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and Jammu and Kashmir Police.

The state government of Assam is planning to set up an expert committee to investigate if the state government has the authority to ban polygamy in the region.
The committee will analyse the provisions of The Muslim Personal Law (Shariat) Act, 1937 and Article 25 of the Indian Constitution in relation to the DPSP for a uniform civil code.

A new study revealed that the nerve-net neurons of the comb jellies are not connected by synapses but by a single plasma membrane.

Rebuild Kerala Initiative is a state government initiative which is aimed at rebuilding roads better after floods.
The World Bank team recently reviewed the activities under this initiative. It also has agreed to explore possible areas of cooperation in six priority projects.

The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) recently launched the Automated Return Scrutiny Module for GST return.
The newly rolled out module will help officers scrutinize GST returns of Centre Administered Taxpayers based on identified risks and data analytics.

REMC – a subsidiary of the RITES Ltd – has established the National Energy Management Centre (NEMC) at its office. REMC stands for Railway Energy Management Company.
The purpose of this centre is to oversee and handle the energy procurement for the Railways at a pan-India level.

AutoGrow Project is implemented jointly by the Indian Institute of Horticultural Research (IIHR) and Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IITB).
Under this project, an automated greenhouse system is developed for precision in agriculture.  The system has three configurations; hydroponics, open grow farming, and vertical setup.

The Association for Democratic Reforms recently released the report titled ‘Analysis of Sources of Funding of Regional Parties of India, FY 2021-22’.
According to this report, more than three-fourth of the income of regional parties came from unknown sources in 2021-22.
