Cyber Surakshit Bharat is an initiative of the Ministry of Electronics and IT (MeitY) that seeks to spread awareness about cyber-crime and strengthen capacities of frontline IT officials and chief information security officers across all government departments.
Under this initiative, the National E-Governance Division (NeGD) is organizing the 35th Chief Information Security Officers (CISO) Deep-Dive training programme.

The Gond painting of Madhya Pradesh is an art form associated with the Gond tribe and it features unique style and theme. The painting has recently received Geographical Indication tag. Tamil Nadu’s Authoor betel leaves has also received GI tag.
A geographical indication (GI) is a sign used on products that have a specific geographical origin and possess qualities or a reputation that are due to that origin.

Union Minister for Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying, Parshottam Rupala has launched the Animal Pandemic Preparedness Initiative under the National One Health Mission.
He also launched the World Bank-funded Animal Health System Support for One Health to enhance India’s preparedness and response to potential animal pandemics, in line with the One Health approach.

Bohag Bihu is an ethnic festival celebrated in North-eastern India, especially in Assam. This year, this 7-day festival will be celebrated in Assam from April 14 to April 20.
It celebrates the onset of the Assamese new year. It is also called as the Rongali Bihu. The first day of the Bihu is dedicated to cattle, which provides livelihood.

Union Tourism Minister G Krishan Reddy and Social Justice and Empowerment Minister Dr. Virendra Kumar flagged off Bharat Gaurav Tourist train to mark the birth anniversary of Dr B R Ambedkar from New Delhi.
Government has developed Panchteerth, five place associated with Dr Ambedkar. During the 8-day tour, the train will cover cities including, New Delhi, Mhow, Nagpur, Varanasi and sacred Buddhist sites like Sanchi, Sarnath, Gayaand Rajgir and Nalanda.

The Saurashtra Tamil Sangamam is an initiative under the Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat program which aims to preserve and promote the rich culture & heritage of Saurashtra and Tamilnadu. The Sangamam will be organized In Gujarat from 17-30 April, 2023.
This event is scheduled at multiple locations in Gujarat such as Somnath, Dwarka and the Statue of Unity at Kevadia and feature an exhibition of Tamil Nadu and Gujarat’s art, culture, cuisine, handlooms, handicrafts etc.

The National Panchayat Awards Week was observed from April 17 to 21 this year to commemorate the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav 2.0.
President of India Droupadi Murmu inaugurated the National Panchayat Awards Week and confer the National Panchayat Awards at ‘National Conference on Incentivization of Panchayats-cum-Award Ceremony’.

The Capital markets regulator SEBI has come out with a dispute resolution mechanism for Limited Purpose Clearing Corporation (LPCC), in order to settle disputes and claims arising out of transactions cleared by it. The framework is implemented with immediate effect.
The Limited Purpose Clearing Corporation is an entity that is set up for clearing and settling repo transactions.

World Heritage Day is observed every year on April 18. It is also known as the International Day for Monuments and Sites.
International Day for Monuments and Sites (IDMS) is being celebrated with the theme of ‘Heritage Changes’. It aims to preserve human heritage and to recognize all the efforts of relevant organisations.
