The Capital markets regulator SEBI has come out with a dispute resolution mechanism for Limited Purpose Clearing Corporation (LPCC), in order to settle disputes and claims arising out of transactions cleared by it. The framework is implemented with immediate effect.
The Limited Purpose Clearing Corporation is an entity that is set up for clearing and settling repo transactions.

Jharkhand Reservation of Vacancies in Posts and Services (Amendment) Bill, 2022 proposes a raise in reservation in state government jobs from 60 percent to 77 percent for SC, ST and OBC communities as well as the Economically Weaker Sections (EWS).
Jharkhand Governor recently returned this bill to the government, directing it to be reviewed.

The National Highways Logistics Management (NHLML), a fully-owned special purpose vehicle of the Indian Government, is set to develop a digital highway network by setting up integrated utility corridors along national highways.
As part of this initiative, the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways has designed 1,367 km of the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway and 512 km of the Hyderabad-Bangalore Corridor as pilot routes for digital highway development.

The Ice Sheet Mass Balance Intercomparison Exercise (IMBIE) issues regular reviews of the state of the planet’s ice sheets.
It is supported by the US and European space agencies. As per the scientists, mass loss from Greenland and Antarctica is now responsible for a quarter of all sea-level rise.

According to the World Meteorological Organization’s (WMO) State of Global Climate Report, the unprecedented heat in Europe in 2022 resulted in several countries experiencing record-breaking temperatures.

A heat dome is a high-pressure system in the atmosphere that traps hot air and causes it to stay in place, leading to a prolonged period of high temperatures and heat waves in the affected area. Places across southwest and eastern parts of the US are experiencing high temperatures due to heat domes.

Guchhi is a wild mushroom naturally grown in the foothills of Himalayas. The Jammu and Kashmir government is planning to promote this fungus species.
Guchhi belongs to the family morchellaceae of the ascomycota and it is rich in vitamins B, C, D, and K. They have spongy, honeycombed heads, usually have two shades.
