The Tamil Nadu state tourism department has sanctioned Rs.3 crore to conduct various infrastructure development works at this fort.

National Initiative for Promotion of Upskilling of Nirman Workers (NIPUN) is an initiative of the Ministry of Housing & Urban Affairs (MoHUA) under the Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana-National Urban Livelihoods Mission (DAY-NULM).
It aims to train over 1 lakh construction workers, through fresh skilling and upskilling programmes and provides them with work opportunities in the country and abroad. The project was launched recently in Hyderabad.

FOSCOS (Food Safety and Compliance System) is a web-based application of the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI).
The food safety regulator has taken steps to translate this web application in Hindi and all the regional languages.

US Homeland Security recently announced the creation of the Task Force to figure out how to use the Artificial Intelligence to protect critical infrastructure and screen cargo to find products made with slave labour.
It is expected to play a role in the responsible use of the AI and defending the homeland against the malicious use of this technology.

Operation Kaveri was launched by the Indian government to evacuate its citizens from Sudan. Ships and aircraft are deployed for this operation.
Minister of State for External Affairs V. Muraleedharan is stationed at Jeddah, Saudi Arabia to supervise ‘Operation Kaveri’. In the recent air-lifting, several members were from Hakki Pikki tribe of Karnataka.

Russian lender Sberbank released technology called GigaChat as a rival to ChatGPT. GigaChat is an AI chatbot that was launched recently by Russian lender Sberbank.
It is capable of communicating intelligently in Russian than other foreign neural networks.

The Factories (Tamil Nadu Amendment) Bill, 2023 was introduced by the state government to enable factories to have flexible working hours.
The proposed amendment is to extend the daily shifts of factory workers to 12 hours instead of the existing eight hours if they opt for a four-day work week. The bill was put on hold due to concerns from critics.

As many as 28 States / UTs have adopted the National Generic Document Registration System (NGDRS) for Land Records.
As per the Ministry of Rural Development’s Department of Land Resources (DoLR), e-Registration is being done in these States/UTs as they have started sharing data with the national portal of NGDRS.

‘International Day of Multilateralism and Diplomacy for Peace’ is observed every year on April 24. It highlights the importance of multilateral decision-making and diplomacy in achieving global peace and resolving conflicts.
In 2018, the General Assembly adopted the resolution, “International Day of Multilateralism and Diplomacy for Peace”.

Rang Ghar is a two-storey building built during the reign of Swargdeo Pramtta Singha. It was used as the royal sports-pavilion where Ahom kings and nobles were spectators at games like buffalo fights and other sports during the Rongali Bihu festival in the Ahom capital of Rangpur.
The Assam Government is set to develop 26 acres on the northwest side of this building as a tourist destination.
