Muzaffarpur led the nation with 7,403 ideas submitted by students from both government and private schools. This figure outpaced Bengaluru Urban (7,306) and Bagalkot (6,826). District Education Officer Kumar Arvind Sinha credited this achievement to active participation and encouragement at the grassroots level.
Process of Participation
Students write innovative ideas related to themes such as environmental protection, renewable energy, disability aids, water conservation and rural technology. Each school nominates up to five students via the E-MIAS online portal. Selected ideas receive ₹10,000 for model development. These models progress through exhibitions at district, state and national levels. The best 60 models are showcased at Rashtrapati Bhavan, where the President honours the students.
