The reservation applies to several Class III posts in Gujarat. These posts include Armed Police Sub-Inspector, Armed Police Constable, SRP Platoon Commander, Police Constable, Jailer Group-2, Jail Sepoy, Forest Guard (Class III), and Forester (Class III).

Former Agniveers will be exempt from physical efficiency tests in the covered recruitments. They will also receive age relaxation of up to three years beyond the standard upper age limit, while members of the first Agniveer batch will get relaxation of up to five years.
