Banwarilal Purohit was unanimously elected President of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan on 7 June 2026. The election took place at a joint meeting of the Executive Committee and the Board of Trustees of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan. Deepak Parekh was elected Vice-President on the same date.
