Aarthik Sahayata Yojana

The scheme was launched by the Delhi Government. The scheme provides immediate financial relief to families affected by COVID-19. It also provides financial support to families affected by the death of the head (the bread earner) due to COVID-19.

About the scheme

The scheme is called Mukhyamantri COVID-19 PAriwar Aarthik Sahayata Yojana. It is applicable to the National Capital Territory of Delhi.

Objectives

The scheme provides financial assistance to families affected by COVID-19. It also looks after the health and education of the children who lost their family and were dependent on them. The scheme provides a payment of Rs 50,000 for each death.

Biju Seasthya Kalyan Yojana: Launched in Odisha. Smart Health cards were issued under the scheme recently. The scheme provides universal health coverage including COVID-19.

Mission Vatsalya: Launched by Maharashtra Government. To help women who lost their husband due to COVID-19

SWANATH Scholarship Scheme: Launched by AICTE. Under the scheme, Rs 50,000 per annum is approved for children from the categories of orphans or both parents died due to COVID-19 and central paramilitary forces and wards of armed forces

Sahog App: Launched by Government of India to collect geotagged data on highly contagious COVID-19 virus.

Mukhya Mantri COVID Upchar Yojana: Launched by Madhya Pradesh Government. Aims to provide free treatment for COVID. 20% of ICU and isolation beds are reserved in hospitals run by private medical colleges to give free treatment.

Kavach Personal Loan: Launched by SBI to provide financial assistance to customers to manage COVID-19 treatment related expenses. Personal loan between Rs 25,000 and Rs 5 lakh is offered under the scheme

COVID Emergency Loan Scheme: Launched by Haryana. 500 crores of rupees was allocated for the scheme. It was for entrepreneurs to supply medicines, oxygen and other medical facilities.
