What is studied under Psephology?

psephos is a Greek word which means a pebble. The ancient Greeks used to drop pebbles in an urn at their elections. Psephology is study of elections and deals with the statistical analysis and other aspects of of elections. The term was devised by R.B. McCallum of Pembroke College, Oxford University, USA. A person who studies Psephology is called Psephologist.
