Uttar Pradesh Launches Kaushal Setu and Kaushal Sarathi Portals

Uttar Pradesh launched Kaushal Setu and Kaushal Sarathi on 15 July 2026 in Lucknow during the state-level celebration of World Youth Skills Day-2026 at Indira Gandhi Pratishthan. Kapil Dev Aggarwal, Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Vocational Education, Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, inaugurated both digital platforms.

Kaushal Setu Portal

Kaushal Setu is a digital portal of the Uttar Pradesh Skill Development Mission (UPSDM). It is designed for online, paperless, and transparent registration and empanelment of training partners. The portal is part of the state’s skill development administration and uses digital processes for institutional onboarding.

Kaushal Sarathi Platform

Kaushal Sarathi is a digital platform that provides district-wise information on training centres, courses, and training partners. It uses a digital map to help youth locate skill training facilities in their respective districts. The platform is linked to the skill development ecosystem of Uttar Pradesh.

Skill Development Ecosystem in Uttar Pradesh

UPSDM is the state agency associated with skill training and employability initiatives in Uttar Pradesh. The new portals are connected with the state’s vocational education and entrepreneurship framework. During the event, UPSDM signed Memorandums of Understanding with KLK Private Limited and Winsome Textile Industries Limited for training and placement opportunities in robotics, artificial intelligence, and textiles.
