Supreme Court Questions Election Commissioner Appointment Law

The Supreme Court of India on 14 May 2026 examined the appointment process of the Chief Election Commissioner and Election Commissioners under the Chief Election Commissioner and other Election Commissioners (Appointment, Conditions of Service, and Term of Office) Act, 2023.
