Sarvam AI Launches Epoch Builder Edition

Sarvam AI launched Epoch Builder Edition on 30 July 2026 as a developer and enterprise platform for building, fine-tuning, and deploying large language models for Indian languages and use cases. The platform includes 7-billion and 70-billion parameter multilingual models trained on 2 trillion tokens and supports more than 10 Indian languages, including Hindi, Kannada, Tamil, Marathi, and Bengali.

IndiaAI Mission and Indigenous Model Development

The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology selected Sarvam AI in April 2025 to develop an indigenous foundational model under the IndiaAI Mission.
