    Can you please explain the ‘floating-rate bond’?

    Given, ‘this will protect the investors again a rise in interest’, then how will it carry LOWER yield than fixed note of same maturity?

      Floating rate mean value of currency is depend on market , currency exchange is not fixed , usa uk opt for floating rate , India opt for bot floating and fixed rate but more inclined toward floating rate.
