National Anubhav Awards 2026 to Be Conferred at Vigyan Bhawan

The 9th National Anubhav Awards Ceremony and the 60th Pre-Retirement Counselling Workshop were organised by the Department of Pension and Pensioners’ Welfare at Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi on 17 August 2026. The National Anubhav Awards 2026 were scheduled to be conferred by Dr Jitendra Singh, Minister of State for Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, and 15 selected awardees were honoured for contributions linked to nation-building and government administration.

National Anubhav Awards

The National Anubhav Awards are associated with the Anubhav platform, which was launched in March 2015 for retiring and retired employees of the Central Government, Central Public Sector Enterprises, and 12 Public Sector Banks. The platform allows employees to share career experiences in the form of write-ups, which are later considered for the awards scheme.

Anubhav Portal and Selection Process

A record 2,141 write-ups published on the portal between 1 April 2025 and 31 March 2026 were considered for the 2026 awards scheme. The awardees were recognised for work related to the Passport Seva Kendra initiative, modern rules, technological administrative adaptation, and energy conservation.

Pre-Retirement Counselling Workshop and Pension Support

The 60th Pre-Retirement Counselling Workshop was held for retiring Central Government employees, especially those based in the National Capital Region. The workshop covered procedures for the timely settlement and disbursement of retirement benefits, which are governed by pension rules and administrative processes in the Union Government system.

Digital Life Certificate Campaign and Pension Mitra

Guidelines for the Nation-wide Digital Life Certificate Campaign 5 and a new Handbook on Pension Mitra were released at the venue on 17 August 2026. A specialised bank exhibition was also held with 17 pension-disbursing banks presenting financial services and retirement products.
