India won five medals on the third day of the Commonwealth Fencing Championship 2026 in Lagos, Nigeria, including three gold, one silver and one bronze in senior individual events. The tournament began on 9 August 2026 at Rugby School Nigeria in Atlantic City, Lagos, and it is scheduled to continue until 14 August 2026.

India’s combined medal tally at the championship reached 29 medals after the Day 3 results, with 8 gold, 7 silver and 14 bronze medals. India won 17 medals on the opening day, including 4 gold, 4 silver and 9 bronze medals across sabre, foil and epee events.

Kanaglakshmi won gold in the Senior Women’s Foil event, and Joys Ashitha won silver in the same category. Rajendran Shanthimol Sherjin won gold in the Senior Men’s Epee final by defeating South Africa’s Pieter Kruger, and Singh Karan Singh won gold in the Senior Men’s Sabre final against Australia’s Shim Yoongi.
