The 2016 theme is “Toward an Innovative, Invigorated, Interconnected and Inclusive World Economy”. This is the first time China is hosting the G-20 global meet and it is only the second time that the G20 is hosted in Asia. The G-20 represents over 85 % of the world’s economy and two-thirds of global population.

The Wifi hotspot facility at the village uses bandwidth of 10 mbps through BSNL’s state-of-the-art network.

Primarily, the scheme would be implemented for 3 years in Ganjam, Dhenkanal and Angul districts on a pilot basis. The scheme will ensure enrollment of girls in elementary education, tracking dropout girls from schools and creating a better environment for them.
