FASTag Annual Pass Crosses One Crore Mark

The FASTag Annual Pass crossed one crore issued passes on 28 September 2026. The pass was launched on 15 August 2025 by the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways and the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) for private vehicle owners using National Highways and National Expressways.

FASTag Annual Pass: Basic Features

The FASTag Annual Pass is linked to an existing FASTag on a vehicle and is activated through the Rajmargyatra app or the NHAI website. It is available only for non-commercial vehicles with a valid FASTag.

Validity and Fee Structure

The pass has a validity of one year or up to 200 toll plaza crossings, whichever occurs earlier. The one-time fee is Rs. 3,075 from 1 April 2026, after revision from the initial fee of Rs. 3,000.

Coverage Across Toll Plazas

The Annual Pass is applicable at about 1,150 fee plazas on National Highways and National Expressways. It is designed to reduce the need for frequent FASTag recharges for eligible private vehicle users.
