11th All India Police Judo Cluster Championship concludes

The 11th All India Police Judo Cluster Championship 2026 concluded on 30 July 2026 at Hyderabad in Telangana. The event was held from 23 July to 30 July 2026 at the GMC Balayogi Indoor Stadium in Gachibowli and was hosted by the Central Industrial Security Force under the aegis of the All-India Police Sports Control Board.

All-India Police Sports Control Board

The All-India Police Sports Control Board is the apex sports body for police organisations in India. It conducts national-level competitions for Central and State Police forces across multiple disciplines.

Combat sports in police competitions

The championship included five disciplines: Judo, Wushu, Taekwondo, Karate, and Pencak Silat. These events are part of martial arts and combat sports that are commonly included in police sports meets.

Participating forces and medal table

Around 1,600 athletes and officials from 36 Central and State Police organisations took part in the championship. Sashastra Seema Bal finished as the overall champion with 24 gold, 20 silver, and 23 bronze medals for 203 points. The Central Industrial Security Force finished second with 25 gold, 16 silver, and 25 bronze medals for 198 points. The Indo-Tibetan Border Police finished third with 10 gold, 21 silver, and 26 bronze medals for 139 points.

Closing ceremony

Shri C. V. Anand, IPS, Director General of Police and Head of Police Force, Telangana, was the chief guest at the closing ceremony on 30 July 2026. The championship was the 11th edition of the All India Police Judo Cluster Championship.
