Wisden’s Five Cricketers of the Year for 2018

The Wisden has named  Virat Kohli as the Leading Cricketer of the Year for 2018.

• Indian player Smriti Mandhana bagged the Women’s Leading Cricketer of the Year.
• Rashid Khan of Afghanistan bagged the Leading T20 Cricketer of the Year.

Wisden’s Five Cricketers of the Year represent a tradition that dates back in Wisden to 1889. This makes Wisden’s oldest individual award in cricket. The selection is at the will of the editor. The editor chooses cricketers based n their “influence on the previous English season”.
