The public service commission is consulted in which matters?

The union or state commission must be consulted : (a) in all matters relating to methods of recruitment to civil posts ; (b) on the principles to be followed in making appointments ; (c) on disciplinary matters affecting a person in service under the  central or state government (d) on any claim by such a person for the costs incurred in defending legal proceedings instituted against him in respect of acts done or purporting to be done in the execution of his  duty (e) on any claim for compensation in respect of injuries sustained by a person while in service of the government.
