The satellites deployed over a six-minute window beginning about 56 minutes after liftoff, and the first-stage booster B1090 completed its 14th flight before landing at Landing Zone 40. The second Falcon 9 lifted off at 9:50 p.m. EDT from Vandenberg Space Force Base and carried the classified USSF-366 payload for the United States Space Force. The first-stage booster B1088 completed its 18th flight and landed on the drone ship Of Course I Still Love You in the Pacific Ocean.
Booster Recovery and Reuse Milestones
SpaceX recorded its 650th successful Falcon booster landing with the recovery of the B1088 booster. The company’s previous shortest gap between two orbital launches was 65 minutes, set on 31 August 2024 during back-to-back Starlink missions.
