Road shows in Gulf nations to attract investors

The Government has taken up a series of initiatives to attract investors to India. With the recent launch Qualified Foreign Investors route & the changes made in external commercial Borrowing Guidelines, Govt is keen to exhibit plethora of investment opportunities available in the infrastructure sector. In this context, Gulf region keeps immense potential to seek investments in India. To tap the potential the Ministry of Finance is organizing a series of road shows in Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Oman, Bahrain and Kuwait. The first road show starts in Riyadh.

  • Capital flows is in the form of FDI from Gulf Cooperation Council to India. It was around $2.6 billion by January 2012
