Recently, India announced it will host the third Global Artificial Intelligence (AI) Summit on 19–20 February 2026. The event will be organised by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) with focus on inclusive development, sustainability, and equitable growth. The summit’s logo, unveiled on 18 September, features the Ashoka Chakra with neural network patterns, symbolising AI’s impact across sectors. The summit continues the series of global AI meets after the 2025 AI Action Summit in France, 2024 in South Korea, and 2023 AI Safety Summit in the UK.

Union Minister Shri Rajiv Ranjan Singh addressed the 2nd Global Conference on Sustainable Livestock Transformation. The conference was held at Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), Rome, Italy. He highlighted India’s farmer-centric initiatives, innovations, and transformations driving inclusive growth in the livestock and dairy sector. India serves as the First Vice Chair of the FAO Sub-Committee on Livestock. The livestock sector supports nearly two-thirds of rural households and millions of small farmers, many being women. India is the world’s largest milk producer, second-largest egg producer, and a leading buffalo meat exporter.

The Government of India unveiled the logo for India-AI Impact Summit 2026, scheduled on 19–20 February 2026 at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi. The Logo Design Contest was hosted on the MyGov platform from 28 May to 12 June 2025, receiving 599 entries. The winning design was submitted by Shri Ajith P. Suresh and selected by Emerging Technologies team under Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY). The logo features the Ashoka Chakra, symbolizing ethical governance, justice, and Constitutional values. The Summit, hosted by MeitY, will showcase AI’s role in inclusive development, sustainability, social progress, and innovations for humanity.

Bharat International Rice Conference 2025 is scheduled to take place at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi from 30th October 2025. The two-day event will host Foreign Ministers of the Philippines, Ghana, Namibia, and Gambia. India is one of the world’s largest rice producers and exporters, supplying to over 172 countries. The conference aims to enable stakeholders to strengthen their presence in global food supply chains. It will bring together producers, exporters, importers, policymakers, logisticians, research institutions, and allied service providers.

The 2025 Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Summit will be held from October 31 to November 1, 2025. The summit will take place in the historic city of Gyeongju, South Korea. It will serve as the annual meeting of APEC leaders to discuss regional economic cooperation. APEC, founded in 1989, is a regional economic forum promoting trade, sustainable growth, and integration across the Asia-Pacific region. The forum aims to ensure inclusive and innovative development among member economies. US President Donald Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping are expected to attend the summit. The GRIHA Council inaugurated the 17th GRIHA Summit in New Delhi. GRIHA (Green Rating for Integrated Habitat Assessment) is India’s own green building rating system. It brings together leaders, innovators, and policymakers from India and abroad. The Housing and Urban Affairs Secretary highlighted that India is witnessing one of the largest human migrations in history, reshaping urban living and sustainability.

The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) will host the International Conference on Green Hydrogen (ICGH 2025) on 11–12 November at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi. The event supports India’s National Green Hydrogen Mission (NGHM). It will feature participation from senior Union Ministers and global delegates.
