Election Commission of India (ECI) will host the National Conference of State Election Commissioners (SECs) on 24 February 2026. The conference will be held at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi after a gap of more than 25 years. The last National SEC Conference was held in 1999. State Election Commissioners from all States and Union Territories will attend along with legal and technical experts. Chief Electoral Officers of all 36 States and Union Territories will also participate. The aim is to build coordination between Election Commission of India (ECI) and State Election Commissioners (SECs) in electoral processes and logistics.

The two-day Black Swan Summit India has begun in Bhubaneswar, organised by the Odisha Government under the BharatNetra initiative. The summit aims to position Odisha as a hub for Artificial Intelligence, FinTech, and InsurTech. It seeks to translate the state’s Vision 2036–2047 into actionable outcomes in digital finance and advanced technologies. Nearly 100 speakers from five continents are participating. Saudi Arabia’s Human Capability Development Program (HCDP) will host the third Human Capability Initiative (HCI) Conference on 03–04 May 2026 in Riyadh under the theme “The Human Code.” The conference is held under the patronage of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, who chairs the HCDP Committee. The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland will participate as the Country of Honor, highlighting strong bilateral cooperation. The event is expected to gather over 15,000 leaders and more than 250 international speakers.

India Artificial Intelligence Impact Summit 2026 started on 16 February in New Delhi for five days. It is the first global Artificial Intelligence summit hosted in the Global South. More than 100 countries are invited and more than two lakh participants registered online. Leaders from 20 nations including France, Brazil, Spain, Switzerland, Netherlands, United Arab Emirates, Mauritius, Sri Lanka, Seychelles and Bhutan are attending. United Nations Secretary General and delegates from 45 plus countries are participating. The Summit is guided by three pillars called Sutras: People, Planet and Progress.

Election Commission of India (ECI) will hold National Round Table Conference with State Election Commissioners (SECs) on 24 February 2026 at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi after 27 years; last held in 1999. It will be chaired by Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar with Election Commissioners and participation of all States and Union Territories. The objective is to improve coordination between ECI and SECs within their legal frameworks and promote cooperative federalism. Discussions will cover sharing of technology, Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) and Electoral Rolls.

The three-day International Conference ANVESH 2026 (Advanced Next Generation Vision for Emerging and Sustainable Healthy Foods) was organized at the National Institute of Food Technology Entrepreneurship and Management (NIFTEM) in Kundli, Sonipat, Haryana. The conference focuses on emerging advancements in food processing, value addition, sustainable supply chains, export-oriented innovation, food safety, and building future-ready agri-food entrepreneurial ecosystems. Delegates from 25 countries are participating in ANVESH 2026, reflecting its international significance.

India Energy Transition Summit 2026 was organised by Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry, held in New Delhi. India’s solar capacity has more than tripled recently; renewable energy moved from margins to mainstream. India targets 500 GW non-fossil fuel capacity by 2030 and net zero emissions by 2070. Energy transition boosts competitiveness, employment, energy independence, and resilient economy.

The conference was held in Jammu city of Jammu and Kashmir. The theme was “Holistic Development of Districts: Transforming Governance for Viksit Bharat”. It focused on improving district level governance and strengthening administration at grassroots level. The event highlighted innovative governance models and best practices from different districts across India.
