The ‘Asia-Pacific Leaders’ Conclave on Malaria Elimination’ will be organized in New Delhi by the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare in partnership with the Asia Pacific Leaders Malaria Alliance (APLMA) as a precursor to World Malaria Day.
Its goal is to reaffirm political commitment to achieve malaria elimination by 2030.

The inaugural edition of the Dubai FinTech Summit is held from May 8 to 9. The theme for the summit is “New Global Home to the Future of FinTech and Finance”.

Department of Chemicals and Petrochemicals is organizing the ‘International Conference on Chemicals and Petrochemicals’ for the global business community, in collaboration with Confederation of Indian Industry (CII).
The B20 conference was held in New Delhi to improve the safety and sustainable ecosystem for chemicals and petrochemicals industry across the four pillars of De-carbonization, Circular Economy, Biodiversity and Water Conservation.

India’s National Climate Research agenda was released during the inauguration of the 2-day International Climate Research Conclave. It was organised at Department of Science and Technology’s Centre of Excellence in Climate Studies at IIT Bombay.

Global DPI Summit and Global DPI Exhibition were inaugurated recently by Union Minister of State in Electronics and IT. Over 50 countries and 150 foreign delegates took part in Global DPI Summit, as the side event of third meeting of G20 Digital Economy Working Group.
During the summit, India signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with four countries namely Armenia, Sierra Leone, Suriname and Antigua and Barbuda on sharing INDIA STACK digital solutions.

The Subsidiary Bodies 58 (SB 58) conference in Bonn, Germany, hit a deadlock during its second plenary meeting regarding the adoption of the agenda, resulting in no formal agenda being approved.
This is the 58th session of the UNFCCC Subsidiary Body for Implementation (SBI) and Subsidiary Body for Scientific and Technological Advice (SBSTA).

The ‘G-20 development ministers’ meeting’ was held in Varanasi. At the conclusion of the meeting, India released an Outcome document with Chair’s summary, an Action Plan for accelerating progress on Sustainable Development Goals and High-Level Principles on Lifestyles for Sustainable Development.
G-20 development ministers reached a consensus on its 14 points, with the exception of two paragraphs related to Russia’s Ukraine invasion.
