Election Commission of India (ECI) will host the National Conference of State Election Commissioners (SECs) on 24 February 2026. The conference will be held at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi after a gap of more than 25 years. The last National SEC Conference was held in 1999. State Election Commissioners from all States and Union Territories will attend along with legal and technical experts. Chief Electoral Officers of all 36 States and Union Territories will also participate. The aim is to build coordination between Election Commission of India (ECI) and State Election Commissioners (SECs) in electoral processes and logistics.

A two-day National Conference on “Tackling Cyber-Enabled Frauds & Dismantling the Ecosystem” has been inaugurated at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi on 10 February 2026. The conference, organised by Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) with Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre (I4C), focuses on tackling cyber-enabled frauds involving finance, telecom misuse, and human exploitation. It brings together law enforcement, banks, regulators, technology platforms, and experts to strengthen coordination, technology use, and victim protection.

The International Conference on Dam Safety 2026 was held at the Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru, under the Dam Rehabilitation and Improvement Project Phase II and III. The conference was organised by the Ministry of Jal Shakti, Government of Karnataka, Central Water Commission and the World Bank to strengthen dam safety in India. An Artificial Intelligence based platform named DAMCHAT was launched by ICED at IIT Roorkee to improve technical decision making. Election Commission of India (ECI) will hold National Round Table Conference with State Election Commissioners (SECs) on 24 February 2026 at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi after 27 years; last held in 1999. It will be chaired by Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar with Election Commissioners and participation of all States and Union Territories. The objective is to improve coordination between ECI and SECs within their legal frameworks and promote cooperative federalism. Discussions will cover sharing of technology, Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) and Electoral Rolls.
