The Regional Open Digital Health Summit was recently held in New Delhi to advance interoperable and standards-based digital health systems across the Global South. It aims to build strong digital public infrastructure for transforming health systems in the South-East Asia Region. The summit is organised by the National e-Governance Division, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, with National Health Authority (NHA), WHO-SEARO (World Health Organization – South-East Asia Regional Office), and UNICEF (United Nations Children’s Fund). The second edition is scheduled for Gandhinagar on 5–6 December 2025, and the third for New Delhi in February 2026. The National Haj Conference 2025 was inaugurated by Dr. Chandra Shekhar Kumar, Secretary, Ministry of Minority Affairs, at Haj House, Mumbai, on 22 November 2025. The conference brought together Executive Officers of all State and Union Territory (UT) Haj Committees to review preparations for Haj 2026. India sends over 1,75,000 Haj pilgrims annually, and the Government of India ensures safe, smooth, and dignified pilgrimages. The Haj Committee of India (HCoI) coordinates facilitation, logistics, and service delivery under the Ministry of Minority Affairs (MoMA). The conference aimed to identify gaps, streamline processes, enhance inter-agency cooperation, and strengthen overall preparedness for Haj 2026.

In November 2025, the Union Minister of Jal Shakti inaugurated the Vision for Sujalam Bharat Summit 2025 in New Delhi. The summit follows the vision of the Prime Minister to promote cooperative federalism and evidence-based policymaking. It is part of NITI Aayog’s (National Institution for Transforming India) six national thematic summits. The water sector theme covers rivers, drinking water, sanitation, groundwater, irrigation, and rural–urban water management. Indian Council of Agricultural Research-Central Marine Fisheries Research Institute (ICAR–CMFRI), Kochi will host the 7th India International Seaweed Expo and Summit 2026 on 29–30 January 2026. It is jointly organised by the Indian Chamber of Commerce, CMFRI, and CSIR–Central Salt Marine Chemicals Research Institute (CSMCRI). It is one of the largest global seaweed industry gatherings.
