Jagat Narayan Lal was imprisoned in Bankipur Jail.
Bankipur Central Jail was a colonial prison located in Patna. Many Prominent leaders like Dr. Rajendra Prasad, J.B. Kriplani, Anugrah Narayan Sinha etc. were imprisoned here during the Struggle for India’s Independence.
Jagat Narayan Lal was  a freedom fighter who played a major role in making the modern Bihar. He became the General secretary of All India Hindu Mahasabha at its calcutta session in 1926. He was a member of the Indian National Congress and of the Constituent Assembly. He was a significant contributor to the debates and issues that chartered the course of the Indian independence.

Jag Lal Chaudhary burnt down the Saran Jail during the Quit India Movement.
Jaglal Choudhary was an Indian independence activist, dalit leader and politician. He belonged to Saran District of Bihar. He was also a reformer who championed the causes of women’s rights, emancipation of dalits, education and land reforms in Bihar.

Ziradei was like a Pilgrimage for Gandhiji. Ziradei was the birthplace of Dr. Rajendra Prasad. Ziradei is one of the administrative divisions of Siwan district of Bihar.
Dr. Rajendra Prasad was an Indian independence activist, lawyer, scholar. He became the  first President of India(1950 to 1962). He was an Indian political leader and lawyer by training.

Alexander Cunningham was the founder of the Archaeological Survey of India. It was founded in 1861. Cunningham became its first Director-General. The Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) is an Indian government agency attached to the Ministry of Culture that is responsible for archaeological research and the conservation and preservation of cultural monuments in the country.

Bettiah is the administrative headquarters of West Champaran district in Bihar, located near the Indo-Nepal border.

During Akbar’s reign, Mulla Takia travelled from Jaunpur to Bengal and presented a very well informed description of this area. His description is widely used in studying the history of Bihar.

The tomb is located at the hilltop of Pir Pahari, in Bihar Sharif. Around 600 years ago, the tomb was being built by his son Syed Daud Mallik.
Points about Ibrahim Mallik Baya:
1. He belongs to Suharawadi sect of Sufism.
2. He came to India during Muhammad Bin Tughlaq reign.
3. After his first vistory over Bihar, he got the title of “Baya” by Muhammad Bin Tughlaq.
5. He also served as governor of Bihar during Firoz Shah Tughlaqs reign.

CM Nitish Kumar inaugurated the largest animal feed factory at Bihia, Bhojpur. The animal feed factory will produce 300 metric tonnes of fodder every day. The aim is to increase the cattle rearing capacity of milking animals by providing fodder at low cost.
