A robotic Smart Meter, wind turbines, and rooftop solar highlight digitalisation, smart power management, and prosumer households. The tableau reaffirms commitment to reliable, affordable, and sustainable electricity for an Aatmanirbhar and Viksit Bharat.

The Adi Vaani platform, launched by the Ministry of Tribal Affairs with support from IIT Delhi and Tribal Research Institutes, is India’s first AI-powered tribal language translation service. At its Beta launch, it supports real-time translation in Santali, Bhili, Mundari, and Gondi. By aiming to preserve and digitize tribal languages, Adi Vaani empowers tribal communities, improves their access to government services and education, and fits into national initiatives like Digital India and Viksit Bharat 2047. Additional languages like Kui and Garo are being developed for future integration.

Recently, Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) launched Skill India Assistant (SIA), an Artificial Intelligence (AI)-powered chatbot. It is developed by META and National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) under MSDE. It provides personalized skilling and job support through WhatsApp, promoting digital inclusion. It is accessible through Skill India Digital Hub (SIDH) and WhatsApp. It uses Meta’s open-source LLaMA (Large Language Model) as its AI base.

Notes:
Recently, the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment launched the Waste Picker Enumeration App under the National Action for Mechanized Sanitation Ecosystem (NAMASTE) scheme to empower waste pickers. This digital platform will identify and support waste pickers by giving them formal identity, health insurance, skill training, and livelihood access. NAMASTE scheme now aims to enumerate 2.5 lakh waste pickers and integrate them into India’s formal sanitation and circular economy systems.

Notes:
The Poshan Tracker is under the Ministry of Women and Child Development, not the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, making the first statement incorrect. However, it did receive the Prime Minister’s Award for Excellence in Public Administration in 2024 and its beneficiary module is designed to promote citizen ownership and empowerment, making statements 2 and 3 correct.

The Union Minister of Social Justice and Empowerment recently reviewed the implementation of the Scheme for Economic Empowerment of Denotified, Nomadic, and Semi-Nomadic Tribes (SEED). It was launched in 2022 by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment. It aims to provide quality coaching, health insurance, housing assistance, and livelihood support to Denotified Tribes (DNT), Nomadic Tribes (NT), and Semi-Nomadic Tribes (SNT). The scheme targets families with an annual income of ₹2.50 lakh or less who are not receiving benefits from other government schemes. It seeks to uplift these communities and improve their socio-economic conditions.
