PMFME Bazaar Showcases Micro Food Enterprises

The PMFME Bazaar and the PMFME Conclave 2026 were inaugurated on 24 August 2026 at the India Habitat Centre in New Delhi. The event was organised by the Ministry of Food Processing Industries and brought together more than 500 stakeholders from the micro food processing sector.

The PMFME Scheme stands for the Pradhan Mantri Formalisation of Micro Food Processing Enterprises Scheme. It was launched in June 2020 and includes a credit-linked support component for micro food processing units. The credit-linked component crossed two lakh sanctions in August 2026.

The products at the bazaar included millet-based products, spices, pickles, processed foods, snacks, and traditional beverages.
