NSA Ajit Doval Receives Lokmanya Tilak National Award

National Security Adviser Ajit Doval received the Lokmanya Tilak National Award 2026 on 1 August 2026 in Pune, Maharashtra. The award was presented by the Lokmanya Tilak Smarak Trust on the 106th death anniversary of Lokmanya Bal Gangadhar Tilak. Union Home Minister Amit Shah presented the award at the ceremony.

Lokmanya Tilak National Award

The award carries a memento, a citation, and a cash prize of ₹1 lakh. The Lokmanya Tilak Smarak Trust administers the award.

Ajit Doval and National Security

Ajit Doval is a 1968-batch Indian Police Service officer and the longest-serving National Security Adviser of India. He has been associated with counter-terrorism operations, strategic intelligence, border security, and diplomatic handling of the Doklam standoff and the Balakot air strike.
