India Wins Two Gold, One Silver in Archery Para Series

India won two gold medals and one silver medal on the penultimate day of the World Archery Para Series Stage III at Ahmedabad in Gujarat on 8 September 2026. The results came in compound, recurve, and mixed team events in para archery, which is governed internationally by World Archery.

Indian Gold Medals in Team Events

The Indian men’s compound team of Toman Kumar and Shyam Sunder Swami won gold by defeating Iraq’s Abbas Kadhim and Anwer Aldawod 152-139. The Indian men’s recurve team of Harvinder Singh and Vijay Sundi won gold after beating Slovakia’s David Ivan and Denis Ivan 6-2.

Indian Silver Medals and Classification Events

The Indian women’s recurve team of Bhawna and Pooja won silver after losing 0-6 to China in the final. Swati Chaudhary and Adil Mohamed Nazir Ansari won silver in the Mixed Team W1 event, and Swati later won bronze in the individual W1 category by defeating Elena Krutova 6-2.
