India-UAE Mountain Guardian 2026 Exercise Begins in Uttarakhand

The third edition of the India-UAE joint military exercise, Mountain Guardian 2026, began on 5 October 2026 at the Foreign Training Node in Chaubatia, Uttarakhand. The two-week exercise will continue until 18 October 2026 and involves 92 personnel, with 46 troops from the Indian Army and 46 from the United Arab Emirates Land Forces.

Mountain Guardian is a bilateral military exercise between the Indian Army and the UAE Land Forces. The 2026 edition includes a Bhairav Battalion from India and a Mountain Infantry Battalion from the UAE.
