EU’s biggest trading partner

According to the data released by the EU’s statistics agency, Eurostat, China became the biggest trading partner of the European Union in 2020. The United States previously held this position. The EU’s trade with China reached $711 billion in 2020 – higher than US’ $673 billion. Britain is now the EU’s third largest trading partner.  The fast-paced economic revival of China amid the pandemic led to the increased sales of European products in the Chinese market.
