Bharat Tex 2026 opens with record global participation in Delhi
Bharat Tex 2026 is a textile trade exhibition scheduled from 14 July to 17 July 2026 at Bharat Mandapam, also known as Pragati Maidan, and the India International Convention and Expo Center, also called Yashobhoomi, in New Delhi. The event is organised by the Bharat Tex Trade Federation with support from the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India.
Event Profile and Format
Bharat Tex 2026 is the third edition of the textile and apparel trade platform. The exhibition is planned across more than 1.6 million square feet and is expected to feature over 20,000 textile products. The event is projected to draw more than 7,000 buyers and 130,000 trade visitors from over 20 countries.
Business and Policy Components
The event includes more than 4,000 business-to-business meetings and over 100 business-to-government interactions. More than 30 Memorandums of Understanding are planned in trade, investment, technology, and sustainability. The programme also includes more than 100 knowledge sessions, such as panel discussions, masterclasses, and state sessions.
Textile Sector Themes and Participation
The main themes of Bharat Tex 2026 include sustainability, circular economy, innovation, Industry 5.0, digital transformation, technical textiles, trade and investment, and export competitiveness. Eight Indian states, including Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Karnataka, and Tamil Nadu, are participating as sponsor states.
