The Odisha government has signed a pact with WorldFish, an international non-profit research organization, to boost fish production in the state. The WorldFish will facilitate aquaculture operations through quality fish seed technology and farming systems. The agreement will be effective for 5-years from July 2016. The project cost will be around Rs. 22 crore, which will be funded by the state.
