Wal-Mart replaced Exxon Mobil in US largest 500 companies as Revenue maker
In the annual list of US largest 500 companies, Wal-Mart – a largest retailer claimed 1st rank by earning revenues of 469.2 billion$ at a growth rate of 6% and booked profits at 36% in 2012. Company Wal-Mart has succeeded to maintain the growth even in a sluggish environment in U.S economy. Exxon Mobil – Ranked 1 in 2011 slipped to Rank 2 in 2012 by earning revenues of 449.9 billion$ and 9.3% increase in net income from the previous year 2011.
