Uttar Pradesh Cabinet Approves Renaming of Jalalabad to Parshurampuri
The Uttar Pradesh Cabinet approved the renaming of Jalalabad town in Shahjahanpur district as Parshurampuri on 6 July 2026. The decision also applies to the municipal body, which will be known as Parshurampuri Nagar Palika Parishad.
