Uttar Pradesh accounts for the Highest mobile subscribers in India
As per Telecom regulator data, TRAI (Telecom Regulatory Authority of India) – Uttar Pradesh and Tamil Nadu have been accounted for the highest mobile penetration market in India. Out of India’s total 861.66 million connections, these 2 states contribute 193.41 million connections which are 23% of total wireless mobile connections.

In order to target Tier II and Tier II cities- higher deeper penetration regions in India, Blackberry- a smartphone maker will offer a plan to provide services for Rs.129 per GB in 15 telecom circles. Services offered will be email, BlackBerry Messenger, instant messaging, social networking, Internet browsing, and BlackBerry World application store.
