uGMRT

uGMRT or upgraded Giant Metrewave Radio Telescope is a radio telescope in Pune that is operated by TIFR – National Centre for Radio Astrophysics. It is the largest radio telescope in the world and the only one offering a wide frequency range between 300 to 800 MHz and highly sensitive instruments. It has 30 dish antennas, each with a 45m diameter. With India becoming a member of IPTA, the observations from uGMRT are to be used in the international project.
