Tewolde Gebremariam Assumes Charge as Air India CEO

Tewolde Gebremariam assumed charge as the Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Air India on 1 October 2026. His appointment was announced by the Air India Board of Directors on 5 August 2026, and he succeeded Campbell Wilson. He is an Ethiopian national and the second foreign CEO and MD to lead Air India.
